What up!? My name is Jaylin or "Jay". I am from Raleigh, North Carolina and went to school at North Raleigh Christian Academy for 8 years. Currently, I am a Junior in the Architecture program and I aspire to be the best that I can be at who I am rather than who I believe I am supposed to be...and to also graduate from Cornell in one piece. While I am here, I enjoy using my skills to be proficient in Leadership, teamwork, and entrepreneurship. I enjoy sketching, reading and watching Harry Potter twice a year...you know what's up, playing Overwatch...sometimes, designing structures in Minecraft, hangin with the fam, and indulging in Marvel's Phase 1-3 movies.

Hello everyone! I'm Jeffrey Hui, your new Resident Advisor for 3rd West, currently a junior in the Dyson School at Cornell. This is my first semester as an RA, and I'm eagerly anticipating the learning and growth that comes with this role. Beyond my academic pursuits, I play a key role in the Food Science Club as a member of the executive board and contribute as an economic analyst at Cornell Current. My free time is often spent playing video games, lifting weights, or immersing myself in music. I'm thrilled to meet all of you and am here to offer my support throughout your journey at Cornell. Let's make this semester an unforgettable experience!

Cristina Chure Leon

Hey everybody! My name is Cristina Chure Leon. I'm a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Biology and Society and minoring in inequalities studies. This is my second semester being an RA but I've lived in Risley since my freshman year. I'm from Westchester, NY. I currently don't have a plan after graduating as that is a scary thing to think about so I'd rather not. I am a first generation student, born in the US but my family is from Ecuador. I am the eldest child and I have a 7 year old brother. I enjoy reading; I am an avid Percy Jackson fan (and all the books in the PJO universe) and I am very excited for the tv series to come out. I've always had an affinity for Greek mythology (ever since the 4th grade). I really like listening to music. I'm a big fan of musical theater, and I enjoy playing the flute. I'm currently a member in P3 (Pre Professional Programs) and in GSMU (Graduate Student Mentoring Undergraduates) so if you have any questions about those programs please ask! I'm excited to be one of your RAs this year and I look forward to meeting you all and making this year worthwhile!

Laila Salih

Laila Salih is a junior studying Biological Sciences with a concentration in Computational Biology, originally from Seattle and proudly embracing her Sudanese heritage. Alongside her academic pursuits, Laila actively contributes to the vibrant campus community through her involvement in MECA, AguaClara, and PAMSA. Her dedication to medicine and research is evident in her valuable contributions to breast cancer genetics research at the Schimenti Lab. With ambitious aspirations to earn both an M.D. and Ph.D. to teach in the future, Laila's journey embodies determination, cultural pride, and a deep commitment to making a positive impact.

Cameron Howland

4th Main / Towers Resident Advisor

Hi everyone! My name is Cameron Howland and I am an Urban and Regional Studies major in the school of Architecture, Art and Planning. My academic interests include city planning, international urban development, and public policy. Outside of class I enjoy climbing, backpacking, acting, and playing trumpet in the Cornell Repertory Jazz Ensemble. I have lived in Risley before, in the spring semester of my first year, and have performed in Risley theater with the Melodramatics Theater co. I’m super excited to now be an RA here, for the 4th, 5th and 6th floors!
