Meet our Resident Advisor team!

Delia Ferry

1st Floor, 2nd West Resident Advisor

Hi everyone! My name is Delia and I'm a rising junior in the College of Arts & Sciences. I'm from North Carolina and am majoring in psychology, cognitive science, and music. I can't wait to get to know all of you!

Jay John

2nd East Resident Advisor

What up!? My name is Jaylin or "Jay". I am from Raleigh, North Carolina and went to school at North Raleigh Christian Academy for 8 years. Currently, I am a Junior in the Architecture program and I aspire to be the best that I can be at who I am rather than who I believe I am supposed to be...and to also graduate from Cornell in one piece. While I am here, I enjoy using my skills to be proficient in Leadership, teamwork, and entrepreneurship. I enjoy sketching, reading and watching Harry Potter twice a year...you know what's up, playing Overwatch...sometimes, designing structures in Minecraft, hangin with the fam, and indulging in Marvel's Phase 1-3 movies.

Katie Huntley

3rd West Resident Advisor

Hi! My name is Katie Huntley (she/her), and I am a junior studying computer science in the College of Arts and Sciences. I am from Rhode Island, and in my spare time I like to paint, run, rock climb, and crochet. On campus, I'm involved in a project team, Combat Robotics @ Cornell, where we build robots to fight other robots. I lived in Risley my freshman year, and I'm super excited to be back and contribute to such a vibrant community :)

Cristina Chure Leon

3rd East Resident Advisor

Hey everybody! My name is Cristina Chure Leon. I’m a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Biology and Society and minoring in inequalities studies. This is my second semester being an RA but I’ve lived in Risley since my freshman year. I’m from Westchester, NY. I currently don’t have a plan after graduating as that is a scary thing to think about so I’d rather not. I am a first generation student, born in the US but my family is from Ecuador. I am the eldest child and I have a 7 year old brother. I enjoy reading; I am an avid Percy Jackson fan (and all the books in the PJO universe) and I am very excited for the tv series to come out. I’ve always had an affinity for Greek mythology (ever since the 4th grade). I really like listening to music. I'm a big fan of musical theater, and I enjoy playing the flute. I’m currently a member in P3 (Pre Professional Programs) and in GSMU (Graduate Student Mentoring Undergraduates) so if you have any questions about those programs please ask! I’m excited to be one of your RAs this year and I look forward to meeting you all and making this year worthwhile!

Laila Salih

4th West Resident Advisor

Laila Salih is a junior studying Biological Sciences with a concentration in Computational Biology, originally from Seattle and proudly embracing her Sudanese heritage. Alongside her academic pursuits, Laila actively contributes to the vibrant campus community through her involvement in MECA, AguaClara, and PAMSA. Her dedication to medicine and research is evident in her valuable contributions to breast cancer genetics research at the Schimenti Lab. With ambitious aspirations to earn both an M.D. and Ph.D. to teach in the future, Laila's journey embodies determination, cultural pride, and a deep commitment to making a positive impact.

Andreas Psahos

4th Main / Towers Resident Advisor

Hi everyone! My name is Andreas Psahos, and this will be my 4th semester as a Resident Advisor in Risley. This semester, I am located in room 432 and will be the RA for 4th East, half of 4th Main, and the 5th and 6th floors. I am a senior studying Policy Analysis and Management in the Brooks School of Public Policy, and I was born and raised in Astoria, New York. On campus, I am a member of the Cornell Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, the Cornell Policy Group, and I am a teaching assistant for PAM 4960: State Policy and Advocacy Clinic. I have also done public policy research in the Brooks School since freshman year, and I am a Rawlings Presidential Research Scholar at Cornell. In my (limited) free time, you can catch me playing piano in Risley, jamming with Risleyites in the Sound Garden, blundering in chess, or exploring nature around Ithaca. After graduation I am hoping to attend law school and pursue a career in antitrust litigation.

If you have any questions about Risley, transitioning to Cornell, or just want to chat, feel free to knock on my door and introduce yourself! I look forward to meeting you, and I wish you all the best in the semester ahead!
