Scott Voss

Residence Hall Director

As the RHD, I am responsible for the daily operations of the Townhouse Community. I supervise the RAs and help them with planning events that help to build a strong community for all residents of the Townhouses. I also work with our Building Care team to ensure that our facilities are well maintained. Lastly, I work to hold individuals accountable as responsible members of the Townhouse Community. I started at Cornell in September, so I am still new and learning, but I am not new to working in Residence Life. I have my Master's Degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. I was an RA for three years in undergrad and I have worked post-undergrad in Residence Life since 2010.

A little about me personally... I am originally from a small town in Ohio, but most recently I was living in Hartford, Connecticut. I have been working at Cornell since September of 2019. I am married and have three pets (two cats and a dog). I am a huge fan of Marvel comics and I have a large collection of comic books. If you stop by my office, you will also see my Lego collection (mostly Marvel Legos). If you want to know anything else about me, feel free to stop by my office and chat, or if you see me out with my dog feel free to say hi and pet Marvel (the dog).

If you need anything feel free to stop by my office, call, email, or set up a meeting to meet with me.
