Annual Funding

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How does student org funding work?

Each year, each of the primary funding boards assigns an allocation to each of their student orgs. For ICC, these funding track amounts are $1,000, $2,000, $4,000, $6,000, and $8,000.

In order to determine your org's funding for the next year, your e-board must meet the requirements outlined in the Funding Tracks document (linked below) as well as the additional ICC-specific requirements (listed below).

  • How much funding can we request for next year?

For each year, you can request to stay in the same track you are currently in, move down a track and receive less funding, or move up one track above your current track. You can only request to move up one funding track each year.

  • When are funding tracks decided?

For 2024-25 allocations, the deadline to complete the application is April 21. Following that, there will be one week of review to verify that you have met the requirements, then one week to fulfill any requirements you did not meet. Final decisions for funding will be announced on May 5, 2024.

  • How can my org get additional funding for this year?

All of the ICC-sponsored student orgs are welcome and encouraged to apply for the ICC Flex Fund for collaborative and interfaith events and initiatives. Be sure your application meets the requirements, and reach out to your ICC Liaison with any questions.

  • Host at least 1-2 events or initiatives that are approved for Flex Funding.
If you are currently in Tracks 1 or 2, you must host at least 1 event that meets this requirement. If you are currently in Tracks 3 or 4, you must host 2.

Staying in the same track

In order to stay in the same track, you must meet all basic requirements for your track listed in the Funding Tracks document.
Additionally, ICC requires that your org:

i.e. if your org is in Track 2 ($2,000) and you were approved for an additional $500 of Flex Funding -- you must spend at least $1,000

Moving down a track

If your org does not meet the basic requirements for your current track and/or does not spend at least 50% of its allocation, you will be considered to move down a track.
