Resident Language Fellows

The Resident Language Fellows (RLFs) are Cornell undergraduate and graduate native and heritage speakers of one of the target languages in the Language House.

They serve as the leader of their respective target language sections and lead their sections in an immersive language experience within the suite, and programming that may include conversation hours. RLFs are responsible for initiating and leading activities that encourage the resident members of the Language House to broaden their linguistic, cultural, academic, and social development.

The aim is to achieve the goals of linguistic immersion in an informal, friendly environment conducive to language and cultural learning. These duties are carried out in a manner consistent with the goals of linguistic and student development.
