All volunteers are required to commit 1 to 2 hours per week! This can be in the form of virtual or in-person meetings coordinated between you and the senior you are paired with.
Volunteers will log the dates of and length of their visits in an email report to Project Generations at the end of every month. This will be forwarded to the Tompkins County Office for the Aging.
Currently, Project Generations is working with residents living at Titus Towers and Nate's Floral Estates Mobile Home Park in Downtown Ithaca.
Of course! When filling out our Registration Form during onboarding, you will have the choice to indicate preferences for gender, pets, assistance calls, hours, and days for visitation.

Yes! If any emergencies arise, be sure to coordinate with the senior you are paired with and if necessary, you can feel free to let any of our leadership team members know of any issues or conflicts that we can help resolve.
