Ujamaa
Ujamaa (pronounced OO-juh-muh), nicknamed Uj, celebrates the rich and diverse heritage of Black people in the Unite States, Africa, the Caribbean, and other regions of the world. The term "Ujamaa" is a Kiswahili term which roughly translates to collective economics. Uj is a cultural center where students can learn about the African Diaspora while living with students from various backgrounds.
