Akwe:kon, pronounced "uh-GWAY-go," is the nation's first residence hall dedicated to celebrating American Indian and Indigenous cultures and heritage. In the Mohawk language, Akew:kon means "all of us." This name reflects the spirit of inclusiveness the house offers to students and the broader community.
