UFW Unity Week

Co-sponsored with different organizations across campus, Unity Week aimed to educate on and celebrate the efforts taken by farm workers in fighting for their rights in the United States.

Raices y Recuerdos/Roots and Memories

MEPA de Cornell, in collaboration with organizations on campus, hosted an open mic night at Durland Alternatives Library to celebrate Día de los Muertos. MEPA members and the Cornell community enjoyed a night of recuerdos, storytelling, and poetry ­ƒÆò

Viewing Potluck Social

Community is a pillar for MEPA! It is one of the only ways that marginalized students are able to survive in PWIs and we try our best to host social events throughout the semester. Many of them stem from our cultural upbringings and gives us room to grow and learn from one another.
