Cornell United Football Club - United in Diversity, Committed to Excellence

Combining the strengths of the previous clubs Cornell Academy F.C and Cornell Santos, Cornell United F.C is a testament to unity and inclusivity. In 2022, both clubs achieved winning records, with Cornell Academy F.C securing the league title and competing in the regional tournament. For the 2023-2024 Academic year, these two clubs will now unite under one as Cornell United F.C. United in purpose, we strive to synergize and compete at a high level within the New York Collegiate Club Soccer League.

Our mission is to foster a supportive soccer community, celebrating the diversity of our players and embracing camaraderie and fun. Beyond the field, we cherish the bonds that unite us as friends and teammates, creating an inclusive environment where personal growth flourishes.

Committed to excellence and sportsmanship, we seek success in every match while understanding the significance of shared experiences. Our love for the beautiful game fuels our drive to improve, pushing us to represent Cornell University at regional and national tournaments.

With 2-3 weekly practices on campus, we hone our skills and build a strong team dynamic. We embrace the joy of competition and cherish the connections that make each season memorable.

Mission
The purpose of the Law School Soccer Club is to organize soccer games for the physical and mental wellness for students in the Law School and other departments at Cornell University. Soccer is an amazing way for students to relieve stress, have fun, and meet new people from different departments on campus. The club also will help improve soccer abilities in a competitive, safe, and fun environment. The club welcomes both graduate and undergraduate students. We hope to see you on the field!

Mundial FC is an organization committed to playing competitive college-level soccer with established players of different backgrounds and playing styles. The team consistently represents Cornell at the Region 1 tournament, and in 2023, won the Regional Championship, making Mundy first out of over 160 teams in the northeast. In 2023, Mundial was ranked 5th in the country., and appeared in the National Championship Tournament for the second year in a row. Mundial values creating a competitive, but more importantly, fun environment, and promoting strong friendships on and off the field. We compete in the Finger Lakes Division in New York and various tournaments both in and out of state.

Sigma Chi, the second largest fraternity in the nation, is one of the most influential and highly respected at Cornell. In our 105 years, the Alpha Phi chapter has been characterized by its tight-knit brotherhood and commitment to excellence in academics and athletics. Since 1925, Sigma Chi brothers have made their home in elegant Greystone Manor. The extensive grounds feature beautiful medieval stonework, and a park-like backyard complete with a spacious in-ground swimming pool and small gorge. Sigma Chi brothers actively participate in many influential roles on the hill. The brotherhood boasts both varsity and junior varsity athletes in soccer, baseball, football, basketball, rugby, skiing, squash and water polo. In addition, we have several campus leaders including members of the Interfraternity Council, the ROTC and Student Wishmakers. Our largest philanthropic effort, Derby Days, has traditionally been one of the most lucrative and largely attended charity events on campus. The Alpha Phi chapter of Sigma Chi has long been dedicated to being the premier fraternity at Cornell and our success can only be attributed to the outstanding individuals who make up our brotherhood. Two Bridges FC is a 501-c3 non-profit dedicated to enriching New York’s under-resourced & historically marginalized youth through a high quality soccer environment, intense academic preparation, and future leadership development.

As students of the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), we know first hand that there is a lot of work and pressure constantly being pushed onto us. We want to create a space where we can relieve some of that stress through soccer! Soccer is a fantastic way to run off steam, have fun exercising, engage in healthy competition, and meet new people. Our intent for developing this club is not only to provide an outlet from school work, but to also help develop soccer skills, teamwork, and confidence in a fun and safe environment. The club is open to all who want to play soccer, both undergraduate and graduate students, with the idea that the grad students can also help mentor the undergrads in a less formal environment. The Dawgs are looking forward to playing on campus year-round, both indoors and out. We hope you can join us!
