CEP is now actively volunteering and alleviating social isolation at Beechtree Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Come join us every Friday at 3:45 pm-5:00 pm and Sunday every 3:30 pm-5:00 pm as we partner with the elderly and spread awareness about senior citizens and social justice!!
The mission of the Cornell Elderly Partnership (CEP) is to facilitate relationships, interaction, and mutual learning between students and elders in the Ithaca community. We visit Beechtree Nursing and Rehabilitation Center every Friday from 3:45-5:00 pm to spend time with the residents.
A simple conversation can be enough to brighten a resident's day.
Building relationships between students and elders can help bridge generational gaps in our community.
