About Us

Our mission is to engage interested Cornell undergraduates with the Ithaca community by providing weekly volunteering opportunities at the Head Start Centers in Ithaca. Our focus is on emphasizing the importance of early childhood development and allowing Cornell students to use their skills to foster relationships with the younger students of our community, with a focus on working with underserved children.

Big Red Buddies is a student-run program of the Einhorn Center for Community Engagement.

Join us for an "Essentials Kit" making event for Ithaca Head Start families! These boxes will go to support the over 200 children enrolled in HeadStart programs across Ithaca and Dryden. Light lunch will be served. Transportation provided!
