2025 Sunday Beechtree Visit!

What We Do:

The mission of the Community Elderly Partnership at Cornell is to facilitate relationships, interactions, and mutual learning between students and elders in the Ithaca community.

We visit Beechtree Nursing and Rehabilitation Center every Friday and Sunday from 3:30-5:00 pm to spend time with the residents. We have bi-weekly general body meetings to raise awareness on elderly social justice issues, while also crafting meaningful projects to further support Beechtree.

Our Mission:

Spread Joy

A simple conversation can be enough to brighten a resident's day.

Foster Relationships

Building relationships between students and elders can help bridge generational gaps in our community.

Raise Awareness

Acknowledging the social justice issues surrounding elder care is an important step in improving the system.

This organization is a registered student organization of Cornell University and a student run program of the Einhorn Center for Community Engagement.
