Thank you all for a wonderful first semester of the Keeton Cup. Congratulations to this semester's victors… drumroll please…
1 North!! By virtue of dominating Keeton Collective, 1 North has earned a 74-64 victory over its closest rivals the Ground North Swamp, with the G&1 South Trees in distant third at 44 points.
The winners of 1 North will wear their victory proudly with "Keeton Cup" championship tees–we'll be sending a form to collect t-shirt sizes, and we'll get them to you early next semester. Don't get too confident though… the real championship for 2023 is yet to come.
Photo Contest winners, we will also get you your prints early next semester. Unfortunately, I only have low-resolution versions of some of the winners (the ones shown below). Please reply with your original photo so we can get the prints made!

The winners are, from left to right, 3+4 South, 1 North, and 4 North. It's a big win for 3+4 South and 4 North, who were yet to earn their first major victory. And the 2nd place finish for 1 North puts them ahead in their matchup with the Ground North Swamp and back in the overall lead!
3 North Nation got the most steps total, coming in with 794,885 total reported steps for Sep 26 - Oct 3.
The Ground North Swamp reported the most steps per resident, with over 28,000 total steps reported per each of the floor's 23 residents.
(Of course, the average is much higher for the subset of residents who submitted steps...)
Each of these floors earns 10 points, putting Ground North back in the lead, and catapulting 3 North into 3rd place.
G&1South had the top stepper, Hathaway H., with a total of 134,568 steps, or an average of 19,224 steps per day! For Hathaway's efforts G&1S earns 5 points.
Posters, String Lights, and Projectors, oh my! Ground North brings home the top prize for their welcoming and F•R•I•E•N•D•L•Y common area.
The 3 North Nation earned 2 points this week for having the second highest attendance at Keeton Collective, so 3 North tied with the Ground North Swamp as this week's winners! Meanwhile, 1 North clawed its way into the overall lead with a 3rd place finish and dogged consistency--they have not missed representing at a single Collective or Conversation @ Keeton so far!
