Rotaract Youth Leadership Institute

Join us as a volunteer for the Cornell Rotaract Leadership Institute!

This one-day leadership conference brings together 8th–11th grade students from across the Ithaca area to explore leadership, teamwork, and community service. Volunteers help facilitate interactive activities, support small-group discussions, and mentor students as they develop leadership skills, collaborate on service project ideas, and connect with peers who share a passion for making a difference. It’s a high-energy, meaningful day focused on empowering the next generation of leaders, and we’d love your help making it happen!

Dental Holiday Drive

We’ll be assembling over 200 hygiene bags filled with toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss to distribute throughout Tompkins County, one of the few counties in New York that doesn’t have fluoride in its water supply. These kits will help promote better oral health and bring a bit of holiday cheer to families who need it most.

Rotaract Leadership Conference

The Cornell Rotaract Leadership Conference is a one-day event on Saturday, April 26th, at Cornell University, designed for 8th through 11th-grade students to develop essential leadership skills while connecting with peers and local community leaders.

The day will include icebreaker activities, team dynamics exercises, and sessions with inspiring speakers such as past Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) participants, Interact Club Presidents, and Rotary Youth Exchange recipients. Students will also collaborate on community service projects and write letters to their future selves about their leadership goals. By the end of the conference, students will be inspired to start their own Interact Clubs at their schools, creating lasting impact in their communities.
