Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity (PAD) was founded on November 4, 1897. Since then, the organization's network has grown to make it the largest organization of lawyers and pre-law students in the world: 1 in 6 lawyers in the United States is a card-carrying member of PAD The Cornell pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta is the largest pre-law organization at Cornell University. Our chapter has over 60 members and an extensive alumni network. Our alumni are law students at Harvard, Stanford, NYU, UPenn, Cornell, among others. Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International is a professional law fraternity advancing integrity, compassion and courage through service to the student, the school, the profession and the community. We are the pre-eminent law fraternity promoting the bonds of fraternalism and we are the leader in the development and advancement of professional ideals.
