About Us

Moot Court at Cornell University shall be established for the primary purpose of allowing undergraduate students to pursue their interest in constitutional law and legal argumentation. Although Cornell hosts many law-centered organizations, few, if any, serve undergraduate students in their legal pursuits. Whereas organizations such as mock trial focus on performative aspects of argumentation, moot court brings a unique combination of competitive argumentation and exposure to substantive constitutional principles.
