About Us

Kedma is the Orthodox organization at Cornell that provides for the religious and social needs of Orthodox Jews. Kedma is dedicated to upholding Orthodox values and maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for Orthodox students. By working with other student organizations, Kedma provides focused, well resourced programs and events for Orthodox students, as well as for the Cornell community at large. Kedma oversees the Orthodox prayer services held three times a day on campus. Kedma also maintains the Eruv at Cornell, which allows Jewish students on campus to carry on the Sabbath.
