About Us

Guiding Eyes for the Blind at CVM (GEB@CVM) works to connect the Cornell veterinary student body with the work of Guiding Eyes for the Blind (GEB) an internationally accredited, non-profit guide dog school based in Yorktown Heights, NY. We believe that both educating vet students about service animal training as well as directly involving vet students in the socialization of these dogs not only furthers the mission of schools like Guiding Eyes for the Blind, but also provides vet students with invaluable training in canine behavior and a unique perspective into the human-animal bond.
