Encouraging Young Engineers and Scientists

About Us

Major budget cuts in the Ithaca school district have left young students without exposure to fun and exciting science enrichment activities. EYES aims to fulfill this need in the Ithaca community by bringing engaging science and engineering activities to the Ithaca elementary schools in order to encourage young students to consider careers in STEM fields.

What We Do

Each week we will host a few visits to elementary and middle schools around Ithaca where members can lead lessons and science experiments with the young students. We assist the students in doing the experiments and try to encourage a fun learning environment for them. If you are interested in working with kids and doing fun science experiments you'll have a blast in EYES!
