Move In

Conference & Event Services

Welcoming thousands of new and returning residential students for the beginning of the academic year requires participation from hundreds of staff and faculty from across the institution, as well as Cornell alumni, families, friends and student groups. This is one of the most exciting times of the year, as campus starts to transform and our newest Cornellians begin to explore their new surroundings and opportunities. Please join us in supporting this important campus-wide event to help welcome them and help to answer questions they may have.

This page is where you will find everything you need to know about supporting Cornell's Opening Week Move-in experience. Roles, responsibilities, available shifts, details on where to go, how to get there, and ways we will show our appreciation for your participation in welcoming students back to campus. Please scroll through the page for all the details, and don't forget to check back often for updates as the event nears
