The E-Board is responsible for managing all aspects of CHS.

Riley Stanton

President

Riley is a Junior Biological Sciences major concentrating in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and researching snake macroevolution at the Cornell University Museum of Vertebrates. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, herping, and playing tennis. Riley has two pet snakes, Robert (Gonyosoma coeruleum) and Dune (Boa imperator).

Favorite herp: Eastern copperhead (Agkistrodon contortrix)

Isa Ciocca

Vice President

Isa is a Senior studying Biological Sciences with a concentration in Molecular & Cell Biology, and a minor in Philosophy. In her free time, Isa enjoys hiking, cooking, and keeping bonsai. Isa has a pet corn snake (Pantherophis guttatus) named Virgil.

Favorite herp: European legless lizard (Pseudopus apodus)

Dimitris Salas

Treasurer

Dimitris is a Sophomore Environment and Sustainability major. He is an avid herper and also enjoys birding, hiking, photography, and drawing. Dimitris also works at the Cornell University Museum of Vertebrates to help prepare bird specimens for the Museum.

Favorite herp: Eastern hognose snake (Heterodon platirhinos)

Shannon Hu

Officer

Shannon is a sophomore Environment & Sustainability major with a concentration in Evolutionary Biology and Applied Ecology. She is currently researching how climate change may impact the spatial ecology of red-backed salamanders. Shannon enjoys backpacking, playing ultimate frisbee, and reading Murakami.

Favorite herp: Marbled salamander (Ambystoma opacum)

Santi Tabares

Officer

Santi is a Junior Environment & Sustainability major with a concentration in Evolutionary Biology and Applied Ecology. In addition to herping, he also enjoys birding, baking, climbing, and mountain biking.

Favorite herp: Coachwhip (Masticophis flagellum)

David Benvent

Officer

David is a junior majoring in Environment & Sustainability with a concentration in Environmental Biology & Applied Ecology in CALS. When he's not outside in search of herps, birds, or bugs, he's probably inside daydreaming about the next time he can do so, while playing guitar, watching baseball, or eating Santi's baking.

Favorite herp: Long-tailed Salamander (Eurycea longicauda)

Ryan Zucker

Officer

Ryan is a Junior Environment & Sustainability major concentrating in Environmental Biology and Applied Ecology and researching phylogenomics in Amazonian birds. Ryan spends most of his spare time outside, looking for birds, herps, and bugs.

Favorite herp: Leatherback sea turtle (Dermochelys coriacea)
