We provide an opportunity for all past and new rowers a chance to get back on the water. The goal of the team is to foster discipline, focus, and friendship on and off the water and make rowing more accessible for all. We compete in various local regattas through the Cascadilla Boat Club (CBC). As a competitive team, hard work is expected, but we also have some fun along the way.
This organization is a registered student organization of Cornell University.
CRC allows the opportunity to become immersed in the sport of rowing, whether you are a beginner or experienced rower. Beyond the beautiful views of Cayuga Lake, you will also stay physically fit and meet awesome people. What's not to love?
In order to improve, training occurs 2-4 times a week either rowing on the water of Cayuga Lake or workouts indoors, depending on the season and weather.
CRC hosts a variety of social events, ranging from group bowling nights, hikes, and even a formal dinner!
Each semester CRC competes in regional regattas and local races to put our hard training to use.
