About Us
CAR serves as the bridge between Computer Science academia and industry for Cornell students. The academia and industry have very different goals and mindsets. Many students wishing to enter the CS industry have limited interview experience. With an increasingly competitive job market, the overabundance of programmers, and lack of training, we find talent students failing interviews. To tackle the problems before graduation, CAR connects students with alumni already working in top technical companies, and CAR helps them practice technical questions. Furthermore, CAR would try to do industrial projects to help students get practical skills. CAR would research on big data topics closely related to jobs and interviews. The fundamental missions of are as follows: Hold weekly meetings to video chat with industry gurus. Hold weekly meetings to solve Leetcode problems. Hold interview tech talk. Develop CS projects regularly. Publish data report regularly.
