As we prepare for a new year and new semester, the Campus Activities office wants to share important information with all student leaders (officers) and advisors of student organizations.
Ô£ö´©Å Spring 2021 Student Organization Registration
Registration will open on January 11th, 2021 starting at 9am, EST. Only organizations that missed the fall registration deadline will need to register. If an organization you are a part of needs to register, the officers and advisor listed within the group will receive an email with instructions (on Monday). To best prepare for registration, please review this presentation and follow the steps on slide 4.

Ô£ö´©Å Updating Officers (for fall 2020 registered student organizations only)
In preparation for the spring semester, we are asking all fall 2020 registered student organizations to review and update their officers. Each fall we have students that graduate ƒÄô and officer positions that change from fall to spring semester. Please take a few moments to review the officers listed within your organization and make sure they will be active and present next semester. If there are changes or new additions to your officer list, please fill out the updating new officers form. Only full time "active" students can be an officer and only full time faculty/staff can be an advisor. You can review your officer list by:

Ô£¿ Q-Weeks: Virtual Events While You Quarantine!
“Q-Weeks” started in August 2020 out of a desire to provide students in quarantine fun ways to connect with others while learning more about different organizations on campus. We are gathering virtual events of all kinds for the spring semester from Saturday 1/23 through Sunday 2/7. This is a GREAT way to kick off the semester in a fun way with your organization while helping out your peers who are looking for things to do before the semester starts! Learn how to submit events at the link above or attachment below, and see what orgs have planned so far at this event calendar! Deadline for event submissions Friday 1/15 noon EST.
ƒÆ▓ SAFC Updates
Next, please review the below information as contains important SAFC dates for the spring semester. This semester, SAFC will be accepting requests during the spring budgets for items that were purchased starting January 1st, 2021. Typically organizations can only make purchases after classes have resumed, but this year they are allowing you to start making purchases for events earlier than normal. For these expenditures, they will have to be paid out of pocket and reimbursed once the Budgets are approved and the Payment Request system opens. The Graduate and Professional Student Assembly Finance Commission (GPSAFC) funds graduate and professional student organizations. Please see the FC website for information on deadlines, funding tier assignments, updates to the FC guidelines, how to submit budgets and request funds, and how to request payment to speakers.
