Thrift at Cornell aims are to increase student welfare and reduce solid waste on campus via the redistribution of unwanted personal items. In the past year, we have set up multiple closets that facilitate free exchange of clothes, hosted social media campaigns aimed at promoting thrifting, hosted movie screenings to educate the student body and led mending workshops. We are working also in collaboration with the Dump & Run program to supplement and continue their efforts.
