Slope Day 2022

Coming soon to Libe Slope.

Slope Day 2022

This year's Slope Day will offer a wide variety of activities for all attendees.

Slope Fest: In addition to the concert performances on Libe Slope, we also proudly present the return of Slope Fest! Come to Ho Plaza for ice cream, face painting, dunk tanks, and more! Breakfast will also be provided to get you ready for the big day.

Alternative Slope Day: We are also partnering with the Campus Activities office to offer Alternative Slope Day, highlighted by a trip to Cornell Outdoor Education's Hoffman Challenge Course off campus! Details for how to participate are coming soon.

Attendance: Attendance at Slope Day and related events is limited to current Cornell students, faculty, and staff. Recent Cornell graduates from December 2021 are also invited to participate in Slope Day.

Admission: Undergraduates, university staff, and faculty receive free admission. Graduates and professional students must purchase tickets.

The Slope Day Programming Board is a unit of Campus Activities within Student & Campus Life, funded in part by the Student Activity Fee.

2022 Health & Safety Tips

COVID-19

COVID-19 is still present in and around our community. As you prepare to celebrate Slope Day, please be mindful of your social interactions and stay current on vaccination requirements.

For more information about current COVID-19 public health guidelines, please visit covid.cornell.edu . We will continue to provide updates to public health guidance related to Slope Day activities on this site.

ALCOHOL & OTHER DRUGS

The legal drinking age is 21. If you drink alcohol, plan ahead for safety and follow these tips

Cornell's Student Code of Conduct applies every day of the year, and enforcement is stepped up on Slope Day. If you see someone who requires medical attention due to an alcohol or drug-related emergency, do the right thing and call 9-1-1.

The Good Samaritan protocol/law helps protect you (and the person needing assistance) from judicial / legal consequences if you call for help.

WEATHER

Plan ahead by checking the weather for Wednesday, May 11th, 2022. In case of inclement weather, please see the Cornell University Severe Weather Guidelines
