About Us
Phi Sigma Kappa, colloquially known as "PSK," was founded in 1873 by six students at the Massachusetts Agricultural College (now UMASS Amherst). Since then, the fraternity has expanded to include over ninety chapters nationwide. Cornell's Gamma Chapter of Phi Sig was founded in 1889, and received their "stately-looking house on West Campus" in 1902. Phi Sig's three cardinal principles are the promotion of brotherhood, the stimulation of scholarship, and the development of character. The fraternity's national philanthropy project is the Special Olympics.
