About Us
The purpose of LALSA is to utilize the collective resources of the members to: (1) Articulate and promote the academic and professional needs and goals of Latino law students; (2) Foster and encourage professional competence; (3) Focus on the relationship of the Latino law student and attorney to the American legal structure ; (4) Instill in the Latino law student and attorney a greater awareness of and commitment to the needs of the Latino community; (5) Influence the legal community to bring about meaningful change to meet the needs of the Latino community; (6) Preserve and promote awareness of Latino culture and unity among Latino groups; (7) Do all things necessary and appropriate to accomplish these purposes.
