About Us

The Jamaican Students’ Association at Cornell University aims to foster a vibrant and inclusive community that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Jamaica. For students from Jamaica and those with an interest in Jamaican culture, we strive to establish a welcoming and empowering environment. We will work to foster unity, diversity, and awareness on campus through cultural events, educational programs, and community outreach. Our organisation is dedicated to providing its members a platform for academic achievement, personal development, and cross-cultural communication while also making sure that each member has a sense of pride in their Jamaican background. Our shared goal is to have a positive impact on our university community's diverse population.
