About Us
The Experimental Sound Series at Cornell (ESSC) presents an annual concert series, featuring the music of Cornell graduate composers. The series, typically consisting of three events per year, is an integral component of the composers' experience at Cornell and provides a critical environment for collaborations with professional musicians both inside and outside of Ithaca. Since its inception, ESSC has dedicated its efforts to showcasing world premieres by Cornell's emerging composers, partnering with acclaimed ensembles such as International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), TAK Ensemble, Yarn/Wire, and many others.
This organization is a registered student organization of Cornell University.
