About Us
Cayuga Capital is a non-profit, student managed educational hedge fund.
We intake students from all educational backgrounds and produce financial adults through a general education series covering introductory accounting, finance, personal finance, & business. Upon completion of the general education series, students join an investment team that focuses on a sector, asset class, or trading strategy and begin a team-specific month long education series.
Investment teams are allocated capital based partially on their financial performance, like a traditional hedge fund, but also on their routine completion of Cayuga Capital’s ongoing education requirements. Ongoing education consists of continuous weekly assignments designed to keep members tuned into the market and continuous monthly/longer-term reading assignments designed to allow each investment team to act as a markets & business-oriented book club.
