About Buttermilk Falls State Park: Located just south of Ithaca, Buttermilk Falls State Park features a stunning series of cascades and rapids carved through layered bedrock. The park's namesake falls drops over 500 feet in a series of picturesque cascades, and the area showcases excellent examples of glacial geology from the last ice age.
