Grab a friend and join Cornell Outdoor Education (COE) for beginner-friendly hike exploring the beautiful gorges near campus!

The cost is $15 per person. Payment can be made through this link: https://ctlcpaymentporta.securepayments.cardpointe.com/pay

Meet at Bartels Hall (554 Campus Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850) at 9:50am. The van will depart at 10:00am sharp from Bartels Hall.
Your guide will drop you back off at Bartels Hall at 1:00pm.

Your COE guide will lead you on a 1-2 mile trail to some gorgeous waterfalls and scenery. This is a manageable, flat hike on a wide trail that is wheelchair accessible.

No hiking experience necessary!

About Buttermilk Falls State Park: Buttermilk Falls State Park is a Finger Lakes treasure just southwest of Ithaca—home to the spectacular 165-foot Buttermilk Falls and one of the most dramatic gorge hikes in New York. As Buttermilk Creek cascades 600 feet through towering cliffs toward Cayuga Lake, it creates a series of 10 stunning waterfalls and natural swimming holes.
