About Us

Black AAP is an opportunity to kickstart a union between Black students, staff and faculty within AAP. The bond between student and teacher is of great importance to the furthering of their knowledge and communication abilities especially amongst Black creators. I hope to contribute greatly towards Cornell University's Architecture, Art and Planning collage by enhancing the comfortability between student, teacher and staff and creating a heightened awareness of people who might look like yourself as a Black person within your department. The hope is also to not only allow Black people with AAP to create connections within the department but it is also to spark something new and exciting for all minorities within AAP. While Black AAP is notable for its inclusion of just Black students, staff and faculty, another distinction lies within its desire to promote relaxation and activity rather than work projects and competitions.
