Ithaca Mobile Pack w/ BIPP

On Saturday, September 26th at 2:00 pm, Black in Public Policy will join FMSC to pack meals for children facing food insecurity worldwide.

Feed My Starving Children is driven by something really simple: making sure kids don’t go to bed hungry. They create nutritious meals that help children bounce back from malnutrition, but the heart of their work is people coming together to help other people.

Their Mobile Packs, where we package these meals, feel like a community coming alive! Families, friends, students, coworkers- everyone shows up, hairnets on, music going, and the assembly lines moving. You’re laughing, cheering, sealing bags, stacking boxes, and suddenly you realize that the meals you’re packing will end up in the hands of a child who needs them. It’s meaningful, it’s energizing, and it reminds you how powerful it is when people show up for one another.
