About Us

Black in Public Policy exists to cultivate a supportive community for Black students, faculty, and staff. We aim to foster an environment where Black students feel respected, seen, valued, and heard. Through advocacy, mentorship, and service, we are committed to promoting accessibility, holistic wellness, and a deep sense of fellowship. Our mission is to champion diversity and inclusion through increasing the presence of Black scholars, fostering an environment that retains faculty and staff dedicated to the intersections of race and public policy, and enhancing the academic and cultural experience for all.
