Engage to Empower Hackathon
- We would like to invite you to participate in the inaugural Engage to Empower Hackathon hosted by the Bowers CIS Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on September 30 – October 2, 2022! Teams comprised of 4-6 students from technical and non-technical backgrounds will work collaboratively to design innovative solutions to strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the globe.
- NON-CODERS ARE NEEDED! What you may perceive as a weakness in a hackathon is actually your greatest strength! Hackathons need designers, researchers, project managers, and many others to build (winning) hackathon projects. So, your talents are in high demand!
Thousands of dollars in cash prizes are up for grabs, plus numerous opportunities to network with and be mentored by representatives from LinkedIn, Google, JP Morgan Chase, Deloitte, Veritas, Intel, IBM, Wayfair, Goldman Sachs, Northrop Grumman, and staff and faculty across Cornell, both in person and virtually!
The E2E Hackathon is an in-person event open to students of all levels and areas of study – learn more and sign up here! Registration closes September 21st.
Please feel free to reach out to Cass D’Amato with any questions. We hope to see you there!
