Mental Health Support

Did you know there are many different ways to get support for mental health concerns? If you’re struggling, these resources can help:

· Speak with a trained peer counselor though EARS – by phone, or in person.

· Call Cornell Health to speak with a licensed therapist (24/7) from ProtoCall, CAPS’ support team of mental health professionals (607-255-5155).

· Schedule a free 25-minute CAPS appointment.

· Meet informally with a CAPS counselor through Let’s Talk, with different campus locations Monday-Friday.

· Join a CAPS counseling group – there are 22 to pick from this spring with topics including anxiety and depression, overcoming childhood adversity, and developing healthy relationships, plus groups especially for students of color.

· Find community through Cornell Minds Matter, which sponsors 200+ programs each semester.

· Take advantage of these free hotlines and text services, including options especially for students of color and LGBTQ students.

More resources for support – including social, academic, and financial – are available on Cornell’s Caring Community website.
