Hi WOCC,
Congrats to the 1Ls on submitting your memos, and hope everyone is having a relaxing fall break. I wanted to send out an email with 2 exciting opportunities:
1) Logo design contest!
WOCC is excited to announce that we are looking for a new logo design for our merch! The top contenders will be put up for a vote, and we will unveil the winning design along with a survey to determine what types of merch you all are interested in seeing the logo on. As a prize, the designer of the winning logo will receive free merch. This is a great opportunity to do something fun and creative over fall break, and we are looking forward to seeing your awesome ideas!
If you are interested in submitting, please do so by Friday, October 22nd at 11:59PM. Submissions must:
- Include the text WOCC / Women of Color Collective
- Be submitted in .jpg or .png format
- Abide by Cornell Branding Policies 4.10 and 4.3
2) Haynes and Boone, LLP: Nationwide Panel Series + 1L Summer Associate Application

Good afternoon,
I hope this email finds you well! Haynes Boone would like to formally invite your first-year law students to join us for our Virtual Nationwide Panel Series, which will take place over the next couple months. It is our hope that this series of panels will help 1Ls feel connected to our presenting attorneys while understanding who we are as a firm and what 1L Summer Associate opportunities we have to offer as students begin thinking about a 2023 Summer Clerkship.
Please see below for the formal invitation and full list of panels we will be hosting. Registration information is included in the links below. The attached brochure also provides this information and outlines our various 1L Summer Associate Programs, with instructions on how to apply on our website. The application for all Haynes Boone 1L programs is now “live” and can be found here!
