From: The High Rises: Jameson Hall and High Rise 5 Date: September 20, 2021 Subject: High Rise Community Newsletter, September 20th
Hi First_Name,
The sky lounge in Jameson has been repeatedly vandalized this week. Please refrain from moving the furniture. Continuing these behaviors will force us to limit the open access to the sky lounge.
A rising number of reminders are being distributed by RA and building staff regarding wearing your mask indoors. Please remember that you are expected to wear your mask as soon as you enter the building and as soon as you leave your bedroom. We do not want to document these occurrences as they create a hospitable environment for everyone. Please continue to wear your mask and keep each other safe! #MaskupOrPackUp
Last week, 9/10/2021 - 9/16/2021 we saw 54 new positive cases. 47/185 rooms are occupied for quarantine and isolation.
A Note From Building Care
Putting items in the alcoves are a fire violations. You may be subject to a fire code violations/documentation and fines if these are not addressed.
All furniture is to remain in the room where they originated from. Please do not remove furniture from your room. If you have, return the furniture to your space.
Please do not put food trash in the bathroom.
Roommate Agreements
The RAs are going to begin sharing the Roommate Agreements and Expectations within the next two days. They are due back to them on Tuesday Sep 21. Please take the time to sit with your roommates to talk about your expectations of each other. You might have already done this, but this ensures that if you have not done so already, you can! Your floor RA will be following up with every room so please take this seriously.
Upcoming Programs
The RAs are putting on some amazing programs for the end of September so make sure you go to them!

Jameson Floor 4:
Alex, Benny, Cameron, Kyle, Reese for always wearing a mask and being respectful.

Shoutout to Cortnee P. for being an awesome floor rep!
Frieda! She's so sweet and always comes to me with clarifying questions when she has them and I always answer! She's a good example of how most questions or problems can be answered or solved when you go straight to your RA instead of waiting around or going straight to the RHD.

Goals could be related to academics, personal goals, fitness, relationships, a "my ideal life bubble", a fall bucket list, etc. We will just chill and listen to my good fall vibes playlist and make aesthetic goal sheets :)
