Slope Day Programming Board is excited to announce Virtual Slope Day 2021
Friday May 14 and Saturday May 15 @ 7pm
Performances by Ari Lennox, Smino, EarthGang, Last Dinosaurs, Michelle and PREP will be live streamed for viewing.
The virtual festival is open to the Cornell community which includes students, faculty, staff and alumni. To sign up for more show information, RSVP here.
Night 1 on Friday 5/14 will feature an alternative indie night with headliner Last Dinosaurs and support from Michelle and opener PREP. Night 2 on Saturday 5/15 will feature hip hop and R&B acts with Slope Day’s first female solo performer headliner, Ari Lennox, along with Smino and opener EarthGang. Slope Day will be virtual this year and will not have an in-person component per COVID-19 public health guidelines.

Join Cornell Outdoor Education for a Cornell classic, canoeing on Beebe Lake! Canoeing sessions are 45 minutes long. Canoes allow two people on per canoe. If you are joining with a friend, each person will need to sign up individually. Please show up at least 5 minutes before your scheduled time. This event is hosted by the Student Union Board, Welcome Weekend, and Campus Activities Office in collaboration with Cornell Outdoor Education.

Swing by the Arts Quad to pick up a free lunch by Cornell Catering. While supplies last! The Slope Day Programming Board will also have FREE Slope Day masks. Movies on the Arts Quad (MOTAQ)
Campus Activities is excited to bring a Class Councils tradition event to a weekly format this semester with a movie schedule curated by the Film Club and support from Cornell Cinema!
MOTAQ is an in-person event series each Thursday (Friday rain date) starting April 8. We are bringing a giant inflatable screen to show each film. We are opening seating at 7:30, with the film starting at 8pm. As the days get longer, we may push the start time back. The first 100 participants will receive a free MOTAQ blanket to use and bring back to future screenings! Bring extra blankets and dress warm while the weather is still cold!!
Syzygy Ball

On May 16 from 8-9 PM EST, festivities will begin with games, Just Dance, tarot card readers, and astrology chart readers. At 9, Mykki Blanco will give a performance. Click here to register. CAPS still has openings in several of its online therapy groups, including groups especially for LGBTQ students, students of color, and graduate students, plus a new group focused on secondary trauma related to police brutality, BLM, and racism. Learn more about CAPS group counseling.
