Program Houses 
Communities for first-year, transfer, and upper-level undergraduate students.
Want to learn more about art, theatre, or music? Act on your concern for the preservation of our planet?
Reaffirm or explore an ethnic or cultural identity?
Program Houses – or themed residence halls – offer the chance to develop and immerse yourself in interests
within an engaging community of residents and out-of-house members. These close-knit communities have a
high level of involvement, with regular events, programming, and outreach opportunities, often in collaboration
with related academic departments.
To apply to live in a Program House for the 2020-2021 academic year, complete the Program House application
beginning October 1, 2018. This year, the Program Houses are offering an early decision deadline of November
20, and will be informing applicants by the end of the fall semester whether they were selected or will move to
the regular decision process. The deadline for applying for the regular process is February 1, 2020 at 11:59pm.

Co-op
Looking for a caring living environment for 2020-2021 – You are
invited to Co-op Mosey Open House Day – Sunday, February 2nd–
1:00-5:00 p.m. Co-ops are open to Upper-Level, Single Graduate
and Professional Students.
The Cornell University Co-ops are unique collaborative communities governed by their
own house members. Members create a space to live in, share the responsibilities of
cleaning and cooking, and eat together informally or through a house meal plan. It is a
place where students call “home”. Co-op Mosey is a day of open houses designed to
introduce you to Cornell’s eight cooperative residences.

Cornell Botanical Gardens Student Employment

Work full time during Summer 2020 and part-time during the
Spring and Fall Semesters to help us develop and co-lead
our pilot Learning by Leading team. Learning by Leading is
an internship program based on student-driven teams,
collaborative leadership, and hands-on work.
Our pilot team, the Garden Ambassadors, will work in public
engagement and informal education. As a Team Co-Leader,
you will have the opportunity to recruit, hire, and manage a
team, as well as organize and carry out events and programs
that elevate the reach and engagement of Cornell Botanic
Gardens.
The position is open to currently enrolled Cornell University
undergraduate students who have at least one year remaining
at the University. All majors are eligible; we welcome a diversity
of backgrounds and perspectives in our work.

Cornell Farmworker Program Paid Summer Internship 2020
Are you interested in doing research and outreach with farmworkers in NYS to address their needs?
Internship projects may include:

  • Research to assess farmworker needs
  • Participate in on-farm workshops: emergency planning, English tutoring, and improved workplace communications
  • Updating farmworker services directory
  • Examining farmworker perspectives on labor issues
  • Developing educational materials for farmworkers
