On April 10, representatives from QGrads and other LGBTQ+ student groups will be meeting with President Kotlikoff, Dean Love, and other administrators to share the concerns and questions of our members. We will share an update after this meeting on what was discussed and any new information that might help you all.To prepare for the meeting, we are launching a new QGrads census. This will be an anonymous survey covering some questions about how we can improve QGrads, some questions about our members' general well-being, and a couple fun questions. Please consider helping us by filling this out and sharing it with any other QGrads you know!
Lavender Graduation is a ceremony that celebrates the achievements of graduating undergraduate, graduate, and professional students in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and ally (LGBTQQIA+) community from Cornell University. Please join us on May 1, 2025 from 7-9:30pm in Biotech G10 to celebrate our Lavender Graduates!
While Lavender Graduation celebrates the achievements of graduating students, this event is also an opportunity for family, friends, faculty, administrators, peers, allies, and significant persons to celebrate each student at the conclusion of their academic journey. Since this ceremony only takes place once a year, all graduating students from January 2024 to December 2025 are encouraged to participate.
You can also nominate a graduating student or university department/staff or faculty member for a Lavender Graduation award! Nominate someone using the link below:

PULSE is Yamatai's dynamic annual concert, where we showcase to the Ithaca community all the hard work we put in throughout the year. This is where the long nights, blistered hands, love, passion, and artistic vision all come together into a cohesive, two hour concert for everyone to enjoy. You can see us perform at local events all year, but PULSE is the only place where you'll be fully immersed in the world of taiko drumming.
Join Ithaca DSA and Thursgay Ithaca for Prommunism!
With Trans Day of Visibility around the corner, we’re centering trans artists and fighting far-right transphobia with solidarity, community, and lots of dancing! And our Prom theme? We couldn’t go for one of the corny high school ones, so we’re going with … communism! Proceeds will go towards supporting Point of Pride and Ithaca DSA.
Our open executive board meeting will be bi-weekly, alternating between Monday 1:30-2:30 and Tuesday 5-6
