Co-op Mosey Open House – Please see attachment

· The Co-ops are open to all undergraduate, graduate and professional students. Co-op Mosey is an afternoon of open houses of the university-owned cooperative residences. Learn about living in a co-op for the spring semester of 2023. Please note that students who currently hold a Cornell housing contract, it can be transferred to live in one of the University-owned co-ops – Prospect of Whitby, 660 Stewart, 308 Wait Terrace, 302 Wait Avenue, 150 Triphammer, Redbud (in VonCramm Hall) and Watermargin. Please note: Wari House WILL NOT be participating in the November Mosey for spring 2023 openings.

For more information about cooperative living see https://housing.cornell.edu/cooperatives The webpages list: types of rooms and amenities in each house; the number of residents; whether the house has a meal plan; the address and location; and contact information for the house for residency is handled independently by each house. Most houses will host additional events through November 30th.. Students will be notified of their status for spring semester by Thursday, December 1, 2022.

Co-ops are unique, collaborative communities governed by their student residents, and are among the least expensive housing options on campus. Members determine house rules and participate in daily operations, including routine cleaning and maintenance. Decisions affecting each house are made democratically at individual house meetings. Houses range in size from as few as 10 to as many as 35 members. Most are coed while others house only female-identifying students. Several have a mixture of both undergraduate and graduate students. Most of the co-ops offer both single and double rooms. Five co-ops have meal plans; all have shared kitchens.
