Cornell in Los Angeles Info Sessions

Cornell in Los Angeles (CULA) is a new study away semester open to all Cornell undergraduate students! Spend the Spring 2027 semester in the global entertainment capital, earning Cornell class credits and having signature L.A. experiences offered by the Department of Performing and Media Arts!

“I’m excited students will have an immersive experience in Los Angeles with unparalleled access to professionals, studios, creative networks, cultural institutions, and archives to complement their enriching in-class curricular experience,” said PMA Chair Samantha N. Sheppard.

Join PMA for one of the following information sessions to find out more about the program and the applications details:

• Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, 5pm, Film Forum, Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts
• Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, 5pm, on Zoom at bit.ly/cula-info25

PMA Associate Professor Kristen Warner directs the program, guiding student coursework, and connecting students with professionals and insiders across the industry. “I’m looking forward to seeing the moments of recognition and the confidence building that happens when students see the possibilities for success in this study away experience,” said Warner.
Applications will be accepted April 1-May 1, 2026.
