Join the Birding Club at Cornell for a day of raptor-viewing at Derby Hill! Located just over 2 hours north of Ithaca, Derby Hill is a legendary site for watching migrating birds of prey heading North. We will be there at an excellent time of year for large numbers of Broad-winged Hawks, and if the winds are good for our trip, we have a chance at seeing rarer species as well (Golden Eagle or possibly a Northern Goshawk if we are very lucky)!

This trip will be on either April 19 (Saturday) OR 20 (Sunday), depending on which day has better winds. We will make a decision about which day we will go and send out an update later this week.
