Details
Tu BiShvat, often called the "New Year for Trees," is a Jewish holiday that typically falls in late winter or early spring. It celebrates the renewal of nature and the beginning of the agricultural cycle. The holiday has its roots in the Torah, where it is used as a way to determine the age of trees. Over time, Tu BiShvat has evolved into a celebration of environmental awareness and ecological sustainability. Traditionally, people eat various fruits like figs, dates, and pomegranates, and sometimes plant trees as a symbol of growth and renewal.
