Join the Pangea Club for a day trip to Herkimer County, NY, about a 2.5-hour drive east from Cornell. We will be visiting two localities and targeting (1) Herkimer diamonds and (2) fossil †eurypterids ("sea scorpions"). This trip will be co-led by Stephen Mayer (Paleontological Research Institute), an expert on New York stratigraphy and †eurypterids. Details will be sent out next week to those who fully register.

There are three things to do to fully register for this trip:
-Sign the waiver (you only need to do this once as a Pangea Club member).
-Sign up on our ride share sheet. Please consider volunteering to drive if able!
-Acknowledge that there is a small fee to enter the Herkimer diamond quarry. The Pangea Club unfortunately does not have funding to cover these costs.
