Pianist Anthony Romaniuk performs “Perpetuum”, a solo recital united through all its music being in perpetual motion. Each piece on the program, whether composed or improvised, is in constant motion. Having different instruments allows Romaniuk to both use the ‘correct’ instrument for a given repertoire but also to creatively invert those assumptions. The program includes works by Satie, Ravel, Beethoven, Adams, Glass, Stravinsky, and more, with instruments from harpsichord to Roland Fantom synthesizer.
