Details

Cornell Wind Symphony, James Spinazzola, conductor. The Wind Symphony celebrates the music of Cuba with the Yosvany Terry Quartet and guest composer Shelley Hanson. The program opens with Frank Ticheli's powerful Second Symphony, followed by Alejandro García Caturla's Tres Danses Cubanas, Hanson's La Tumba de Alejandro García Caturla, and a set of Terry's compositions for large jazz ensemble.
